History of the Power of Goodness Video Competition
The Power of Goodness Video Competition began as an initiative to showcase the impact of Rotary projects through the power of storytelling and visual media.
In the 2021-2022 Rotary year, the competition was first introduced by Region 25 as an innovative way to highlight inspiring projects and engage Rotary clubs in a creative format. Due to its success, the competition quickly expanded. In the following year, Region 24 joined, making it a Zone 21-wide competition.
As its influence grew, the competition continued to attract more participation. By 2024, Regions 26, 27, and 28 from Zone 22 also became part of this initiative, expanding its reach across a vast Rotary geography.
Until the 2024-2025 Rotary year, participating clubs were recognized based on four key criteria. However, in 2025, the competition gained a new dimension with the introduction of a special award in memory of ARPIC Vesna Baur, honoring her contributions and dedication to Rotary.
