Title of the Competition:
Rotary: The Power of Goodness

Purpose:
Each club is invited to prepare and present a video telling the story of a project or projects implemented by the club that promote one or more of Rotary Foundation’s seven areas of focus, or service projects that have had a significant impact on the community.

The video should clearly and coherently present the essence of the project, its impact on the community, and the way in which it aligns with the mission and values of Rotary International.

Evaluation and Conditions

The judging process will take place at the following levels:

 1. District Jury
 2. Regional Jury
 3. Zone Jury
 4.Grand Jury

The decision of the jury at each stage is final.


Requirements and Evaluation Criteria

Video Duration: Minimum 2 minutes and maximum 3 minutes.
Each video must comply with Rotary’s visual identity and brand guidelines.

Videos will be evaluated based on inspiration, message content, and technical execution (sound and image quality).
Each video must be uploaded to a media platform.

Eligible for participation are videos that present projects implemented after 1 July 2023, and that have not participated in previous editions of the competition.

The winners will be announced through an online meeting between the second half of May and the end of June 2026, while the award ceremony will be held in person during the Rotary Institute later the same year.
Additional information about the event will be published on the social media channels of Zones 21 and 22.


A. Evaluation Criteria (Total: 100 points)

1. Creativity and Community Impact (40 points):

    a. Presentation of Rotarians’ initiative in the spirit of the motto “Service Above Self”, including personal testimonies, experiences, and reflections.
    b. The ability of the video to convey a positive image of Rotary and to demonstrate the organisation’s care for people and communities
    c. Clear representation of one or more of Rotary International’s seven areas of focus.

2. Message Content (40 points):

The following criteria will be considered when evaluating the message content:

    a.The extent to which the video reflects the competition theme “The Power of Goodness.”

    b. Alignment of the video with Rotary International’s mission and vision.

    c. The persuasiveness and emotional impact of the video.
    
    d. Logical structure and coherence in presenting the content.


3. Technical Execution (20 points):

  • The following aspects will be evaluated:

      a. Compliance of logos and all technical elements with Rotary International’s visual identity standards.
      b. Use of outdated logos or emblems is not permitted – only the current Rotary branding may be used.
      c. Subtitles in English must be included.
      d. Technical quality, including:

  •  * Consistency and smooth flow of content,
  • * Proper time structuring,
  • * Camera work and visual composition,

  • * Sound quality,

  • * Editing and post-production.


e. Strict adherence to the time limit – maximum 3 minutes (180 seconds), including opening and closing frames.

f. Respect for copyright when using graphic or other multimedia elements.



This year, a special award will be presented for projects related to END POLIO!
The evaluation and conditions for this category are identical to the main competition.
The award will be announced by the Regional Jury, with separate winners for each region.


B. Submission Deadline:

16 March 2026, midnight (Istanbul time zone).

C. Announcement of Winners:

The winners will be announced during an online ceremony on 20 May 2026.
